A murder investigation is underway in Paulding County, where a 3-month old child died in an alleged abuse case. Last Friday, Grover Hill EMS was called to Cleveland Street in that village for an infant that was not breathing. That child, 3-month old Zyathen Blair was then transported to a Ft. Wayne hospital, and died on Wednesday, October 25th. Medical personnel contacted the Paulding County Sheriff’s office with concerns about possible abuse. An autopsy was conducted Thursday, and there was evidence of blunt force trauma. Following interviews by the sheriff’s office, 19 year old Tristen Blair of Grover Hill was taken into custody and charged with Murder. Blair is scheduled to be arraigned in Paulding County Court on Monday.
