The new superintendent of the Archbold Area Schools is a Bluestreak grad. At a special meeting of the Archbold board of education Monday night, Dr. Jayson Selgo was approved for a 3 year, 7 month contract to lead the district. Dr. Selgo will take-over for Marc Robinson, who has been serving as interim superintendent. His full-time duties in that role will end December 31st of this year; but he will work as associate superintendent, alongside Dr. Selgo for the month of January. Jayson Selgo graduated from Archbold in 2001, and has been high school principal in the Ottawa Glandorf school district for the past 7 years. Before that he was principal of the junior and senior high school at North Central in Williams County.
