A fatal accident involving a truck and pedestrian was investigated by the Fulton County Sheriff’s office and Wauseon Police Tuesday morning.At 10:19am, Tuesday, 46 year old Mark Shadbolt of Wauseon was struck on U.S. 20A by an Indiana truck driver.The location was the section of route 20-A between where route 108 goes north and south on the north side of Wauseon.Mark Shadbolt was transported to the FultonCountyHealthCenter by Wauseon EMS; but died of his injuries.There was no indication why Shadbolt was on the highway when the collision occurred.
