Another county in northwest Ohio is reporting a death from the corona virus.The Defiance County Health Department confirms a local resident has died from complications from Covid-19.The victim is a female in her ‘60’s, who acquired the virus from an unknown source, and had been hospitalized.Defiance County health commissioner Jamie Gerken stated,‘our hearts go out to the family and friends at this time of loss’.Defiance County has 17 positive test for the corona virus at this time.
Officials are still encouraging social distancing, as the state gears-up to open some businesses early in May.Wearing a face mask may help, and frequent washing of hands are keys to avoiding the spread of Covid-19.
