DEFIANCE COUNTY GRAND JURY INDICTS 7, INCLUDING FELONY 1 DRUG CHARGES

The Defiance County Grand Jury indicted 7 persons for crimes including felony-1 drug crimes, and sexual offenses.

Four men from Michigan were arrested on March 16th during a traffic stop, and two of the occupants were indicted for being in possession of more than 50 grams of a Fentanyl-related compound. They include: 39 year old Jayson Floyd of Mount Vernon, Michigan; and 34 year old Rondell Glenn of Detroit, Michigan. Two other persons were indicted for felony-2 counts of Possession of a Fentanyl-related compound.  They are 24 year old Williams Clark, and 30 year old Quanteze Brown, both of Detroit.

Also indicted by the Defiance County Grand Jury was 44 year old Jason P. Ruder of Defiance, on 5 counts of Pandering Obscenity involving a Minor or Impaired Person, which is a 2nd degree felony, and another 7 counts of Pandering Sexually-Oriented Matter involving a Minor or Impaired Person.   These crimes allegedly occurred in late December of last year.

25 year old Chelsey Bryant of Defiance was indicted for Tampering with Evidence.

           And 35 year old Trae Burton of Defiance was indicted for Domestic Violence, and Intimidation of a Witness; along with five counts of Violating a Protection Order.                     The cases were released to the Defiance County Grand Jury by Prosecuting Attorney Morris Murray.
