A new contract has been approved between Henry County Commissioners and the teamsters union local representing employees at Countryview Haven. The three-year agreement provides for a wage increase of 75-cents per hour in the first year, retroactive to October 31st. The pact calls for 2% wage increases in the second and third year of the contract. This agreement will impact 26 of the 42 employees at Countryview Haven.
The Henry County Commissioners are advertising for bids for concrete boxes utilized in highway department projects. Those bids are due January 31st.
The commissioners have appointed Michelle Laver to serve a four-year term on the Henry County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
And a draw of $5,000 was approved from the Ohio Development Services, which will help pay for the tap-in costs for two residents on the Okolona Sewer line.
