It all started decades ago in Henry County, under the leadership of former ag agent Bob Cole. Corn-Soybean day is back on the docket for 2013 at Founder’s Hall at Sauder Village this Thursday. The event is hosted by the Fulton County OSU Extension office, and will include presentations on how to manage corn following a drought year. Other topics to be covered include weed disasters, soybean health when dealing with insects and disease, and how soil impacts yield.
A number of exhibitors will also be on-hand for the event that gets underway Thursday at 8:30am with registration, and a lunch is included in the admission price. Ohio pesticide credits can also be obtained at this event.
