The Henry County Sheriff’s office made an arrest in connection with a rape case on Tuesday.   Deputies travelled to the Cincinnati area Tuesday morning, where they took 38 year old Daniel J. Bettis of Hamilton, Ohio into custody.   Bettis has been charged with a first degree felony count of Rape, allegedly involving a victim under 16 years of age.  The crime occurred January 5^th in the village of Hamler.   Bettis was arraigned in Napoleon Municipal Court on the Rape charge; and is being held at the regional jail on a cash bond of $500,000.   He is scheduled to return to court on Monday, February 11^th.
