A house that became the property of the village of Deshler due to bankruptcy, is now up for bid, to be torn down.   The former Morrow property at 142 Lind Street includes a two story house.   Deshler Council passed an ordinance seeking bidders to acquire the parcel, with a stipulation that it be brought down within six weeks.   A minimum bid of $2,500 is also required; and the final two bidders would proceed to auction on March 25th.

Deshler Council appointed Dave Seeman as manager of the Memorial ball parks for 2013.

And interviews will be getting underway soon for two full-time village positions:  one for lineman in the electric department, and the other is for a slot at the water plant.   The deadline for applications has passed.
