The Napoleon Planning Commission has reviewed a preliminary plat to make changes to the lot at 2269 North Scott Street, which is the site of the former Midwest Wood Trim.   The plan is to turn the site into a four-lot commercial subdivision.   There has been some business interest in the property, now that they are being considered for smaller parcels.     The subdivision requires a street as part of the plan, which would head east from Scott Street, toward the former railroad bed that goes under the 6 and 24 bypass.   This street could also link to the future Napoleon water plant off Glenwood Avenue in the years ahead.

The Napoleon Planning Commission also approved the change in zoning for the parcel at 2269 North Scott Street, from open industrial, to planned commercial.

Napoleon Council will review these proposals in the future.
