The Fulton County Commissioners have received notification from Dover Township Trustees of the expansion of a large hog operation.  Bernath Farms LLC is proposing to increase their herd to at least 2,500 swine.  The livestock feeding operation is located at the corner of Fulton County Roads HJ and 17-3 in Dover Township.

Commissioners got an update on activity at the Fulton County Airport, where the operator reports nearly 100% of the hangar space is rented out.  They have contacted the state highway patrol about utilizing the Fulton County facility to fuel-up and make stops when conducting air patrol over the turnpike.  The airport will also be offering flying lessons soon.

The Fulton County Commissioners have appointed Swanton mayor, Ann Roth to a term on the Fulton County Local Emergency Planning Committee.
