The Holgate village council is seeking bids for the former school property they own along Frazier Avenue.  A sign will be placed in that area with information concerning the lots and availability.   Sealed bids will be taken for the properties, which are due on May 14^th. 

Holgate Council has approved a contract with Medical Mutual to provide health insurance coverage for village employees.    The cost is about a 9% increase over the past year.

A hike in the clothing allowance for village employees was granted, bumping the figure by $50.

And residents in Holgate are reminded that snow must be removed from sidewalks- it is the law; and it’s for the protection of village residents.
