A couple of educational events are coming-up in Fulton County next month, covering topics from parenting to severe weather. If weather plays a role in your life; from farming to recreation events, to public service; you’ll want to take advantage of a ‘weather observation and storm spotter training course. It’s being offered on Thursday, April 4th at the Fulton County conference room in Wauseon. Guest Speaker will be Rick McCoy from the Van Wert County Emergency Management Agency, an expert in severe weather. He has been featured in National Geographic specials, and on the Weather Channel. To register for this event, contact the Fulton County EMA office.
And Fulton County will be hosting a parenting series for families with young children on Wednesday evenings from April 10th through 24th. The registration deadline for this event is April 5th. Participants will learn about redirection, active listening, setting limits, applying consistent consequences, and strengthening relationships. Contact the Fulton County OSU Extension office for more details.
