Residents in Liberty Center got to hear the options for water supplied to the community, at an information meeting Tuesday night.  Several dozen residents attended the session, and learned that options for Liberty Center’s water include:  drilling wells and construct a water plant, join Napoleon in their water plant project, and possibly even connect water lines to Delta or Swan Creek Township

Other residents were concerned about Wood County taking over building and residential inspections in the village.  Liberty Center council tabled the second reading on that legislation.

A pre-construction meeting is set for March 28th, in the project to re-pave roads that were damaged from the U.S. 24 project.  Those include East Maple Street, along with county roads 7 and 8.  That work is expected to be completed by August 30th.

Spring cleanup in Liberty Center is set for April 17th through 21st, with drop-off at the Creager building.

Liberty Center merchants are gearing up for an event this Saturday.   And the community Easter Egg hunt is scheduled for this Saturday at the Liberty Center fireman’s park at 1pm.
