For the second time in three months, the Fulton County Commissioners reviewed lower sales tax revenues. The March report indicated sales tax receipts for FultonCounty were about $60,000 lower than March of 2012. That’s a drop of 8.7%. Total sales tax revenues for 2013, after three months, have topped 1.6 million dollars.
A proposal on how to deal with liquid runoff from the former FultonCounty landfill site has been deemed unacceptable by the Ohio EPA. A meeting has been set-up with the District EPA office to gather more details. But FultonCounty would like to pump that liquid waste to the village of Delta for processing; although no contract has been set-up at this time.
Fulton County Commissioners have approved a resolution to close all county facilities at on Friday, due to the Good Friday holiday.
