A late March snowfall has produced some slick roads, sending vehicles into the ditch this morning. No injury crashes have been reported so far; but there was an injury accident over the weekend in HenryCounty. The sheriff’s office was called to the intersection of state routes 108 and 281 Friday morning at . 50 year old Sharon Noffsinger of Defiance was injured and transported to the DefianceRegionalMedicalCenter by Holgate EMS.
Another injury collision occurred over the hour on Friday in RidgevilleTownship at state route 34 and county road 24. 29 year old Shanna Lester of Fayette was transported to the FultonCountyHealthCenter by Ridgeville Rescue.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated a burglary reported at property along road M-1 in NapoleonTownship, where some items were stolen from the home.
Some batteries and propane tanks were stolen in a theft at property along state route 65 in DamascusTownship, along the Maumee River on Thursday.
Some scrap metal was the target of thieves that hit a barn along road C in BartlowTownship Friday morning.
Another burglary sent Henry County Deputies to a residence along state route 65 in McClure, where some items were stolen from the home.
An arrest was made in connection with a break-in at property on road C in BartlowTownship. 40 year old Jamie VanZandt of Deshler was charged with Breaking and Entering.
