FULTON COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM TO HOST CIVIL WAR EVENT

The United States is closing-in on the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg. July 3rd, 1863 was the date that epic battle commenced in a small town in Pennsylvania.
But there were plenty of other activities surrounding the Civil War in 1863 that local Ohio soldiers were involved in. The Fulton County Historical Society will focus on those events with a special program this Saturday, April 6th at . The Saturday program at the FultonCounty museum will include a lecture on how local German-speaking units were treated during the Civil War. And a sing-along of Civil War songs is scheduled for . The museum is located at 229 Monroe Street in Wauseon, about three blocks west of the downtown. This event is free and open to the public.
