The Fulton County Commissioners reviewed sales tax revenue numbers for April; and awarded the mowing contract for county grounds, during their session this week. Lawns-n-More of Wauseon was given the mowing contract for the year, at $900 per job.
The OSU Extension office is still working through candidates for the Family and Consumer Science position in Fulton County. They originally had hoped to fill that slot by May 1st, to replace Cheryl Barber Squires, who resigned earlier this year.
And on the local economic front, sales tax receipts for April topped $505,000 in Fulton County. That’s a 7.4% increase over April of last year. In the first four months of 2013, sales tax revenues are running slightly behind 2012 in Fulton County, at 2.1 million dollars.
