Some retirements and employment headlined the recent meeting for the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center board of education. Two members of the staff are seeking to retire, and be rehired by the service center. They are speech and language pathologist Cathy Selgo, along with Special Education supervisor Judy Stuckey.
Four other employees are continuing into retirement after the current school year, including Christopher Nelson-school psychologist, Pamela Sass-occupational therapist, Christine Fraker-intervention specialist, along with Cecelia Brink.
A number of certified contracts were approved by the Northwest Ohio Educational Service Center board, including administrators Louise Dalton, LeAnn Moser, Jennifer Wensink, Troy Slattman, Stacey Parrish, Clare Overmeier, Kori Zake, and Steven Hastings. Carol Dehnbostel was contracted as coordinator of the migrant program for summer and fall.
And Jose Salinas was named director for the Migrant Education program.
