Some local jail time was handed-out in Henry County Common Pleas court at recent sentencing hearings. Mary Lou and Regina Alvarez were each convicted on felony charges of Forgery, Theft, and Misuse of a Credit Card. Judge John Collier placed both women on community control for three years; and ordered they spend 90 days at the regional jail. Regina and Mary Lou Alvarez were each ordered to pay restitution of over $3,200 in the case.
23 year old Zachary Lennard of Napoleon was found guilty on ten counts of Breaking and Entering. Lennard was placed on community control for three years; and was also ordered to spend 90 days at CCNO. His restitution must be paid at $4,270.
Jason Hohenberger of Holgate pled guilty to Aggravated Menacing, a first degree misdemeanor; and a pre-sentence investigation was ordered in the case.
And jury trial dates were set in two cases from Henry County Common Pleas court: 25 year old Carson Starnes of Malinta will be charged with Rape in a trial that begins August 22nd. And a jury trial for 28 year old Andrew Gardner of Toledo is slated to get underway September 19th, as he faces a felony charge of Assault.
