The Henry County Commissioners have utilized federal money to tear down 7 dilapidated houses in the ‘Moving Ohio Forward’ program. The city of Napoleon is still trying to finalize plans to bring-down 4 structures on Yeager Street that could be a safety hazard. These houses are being ranked to determine which should come down first, before the government funds run-out. These projects need to be completed by the end of this calendar year.
The Henry County Commissioners approved a salary increase for the director of Job and Family Services, Shannon Jones, after completing her 180-day probationery period.
And the board has okayed payment of $170 to join the state cooperative purchase program for equipment, to gain better pices.
