HENRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS SEEKING BIDS FOR FARM GROUND

If you’re looking for more farm ground to work; the Henry County Commissioners want to hear from you. Commissioners have approved an order to advertise for bidders seeking to rent the 224 acres of land around Countryview Haven. This contract would cover the crop years of 2014, 15, 16, and 2017. Bids should be submitted to the Henry County Commissioners by September 10th, and specs are available at their office located in the Oakwood Avenue complex.
The Henry County Commissioners report they have received their refund check from the Ohio Bureau of Worker’s Compensation, as part of a settlement case. That total is $98,826.
In their first full month as a transfer station; the HenryCounty landfill recorded 165 tons of waste during July. That’s about 1,326 tons lower than the waste received during July 2012. HenryCounty also took-in over 65 tons of tires for shredding last month, along with another 21.6 tons of concrete. Commissioners remind area residents, the HenryCounty landfill is still accepting loads as a transfer facility, with their minimum load rate at $15.
