The Labor Day weekend produced two injury accidents in HenryCounty. The sheriff’s office was dispatched to state route 110 Saturday evening, when 30 year old Mary Beth Brown of Napoleon lost control of her motorcycle on a curve, and struck a guardrail. Brown suffered serious injuries; and was transported from the scene by ProMedica Air Ambulance to the ToledoHospital. There was no word on her condition.
Then on Monday evening at , two vehicles collided at state route 65 and U.S. 6 in McClure. This collision involved two Honda vehicles, one a motorcycle, and the other an SUV. 51 year old Daniel May of Beaverdam was driving a motorcycle, and was struck, sustaining serious injuries. May was transported to St. VincentMedicalCenter in Toledo by Life Flight. Also injured in the crash was a passenger in the other vehicle, 38 year old Heather Thompson of Mansfield, and 10 year old Kaitlin Thompson of Mansfield. Both victims were transported to the WoodCountyHospital by McClure Rescue.
The Henry County Sheriff’s office investigated a break-in at a church on Depot Street in McClure reported Sunday evening.
