The list of activities is growing for a major event in Napoleon at the end of October, in a fund-raising effort for the Napoleon Civic Center project. It’s a Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 26th at the Central school site in Napoleon, with all proceeds going toward the drive to save the John L. Johnson Auditorium, and creation of a civic center.
The day will begin with 5K and 10K races, along with a kids fun run.
There will be draft horse wagon rides, pumpkin carving and painting, a petting zoo, along with historic walking tours. The sports events include a cornhole tournament, 3 on 3 basketball, and a hoop-shooting contest.
There will be entertainment on-stage all day long for the event; and the Central School grounds will be packed with arts and crafts, a flea market, children’s inflatibles, and a car show. Keep the date, October 26th, for a huge Pumpkin Festival in Napoleon.
