The price-tag for making repairs to the exterior stone at the historic Henry County Courthouse is rising. Henry County Commissioners accepted a proposal from the W.R. Myers Company, for additional stone improvement work, at a cost of just under $14,900.
Commissioners will also be participating in lighting improvement rebate program in the Henry County Courthouse. That new lighting will lead to a payback of up to $750.
And Henry County EMA director Tracy Busch has secured some proposals to enhance security in offices like the Board of Elections, Health Department, Child Support Enforcement, the title office, and office of county commissioners. That total cost is estimated at $23,000; but commissioners are looking at the possibility of sending that cost back to each department.
