The village of Deshler has nailed-down their liability insurance contract for 2014, and took action to vacate some streets. Deshler Council passed the third and final reading on legislation to vacate portions of Deshler, Main and Maple Streets on the west side of town.
The contract for liability insurance was approved with Beck Insurance of Archbold, at a cost of just under $51,000 for the year. That’s up about $1,000 over the previous premium.
And Deshler Council approved residents in the village to put-up Christmas decorations in the city park this year, beginning with the inside and working out.
