An economic development project in Henry County has received approval from the Four County Career Center board of education. The tax abatement agreement is for the Graminex Company of Deshler, as they make plans to expand, and build a 30,000 square foot structure, to enhance their production. This expansion will allow Graminex to increase their payroll by 60 over the next five years. With approval of an enterprise zone tax abatement the Deshler Company will invest up to 6 million dollars in their facility in southeast Henry County, including equipment and new building.
The Four County Career Center board also approved adult education instructors including Carol Hibbard, Elizabeth Keefe, Thomas Stahl, Steven Barker, and Chris Kerns.
